Gregor von Dulong is a highly skilled Machine Learning Engineer with a passion for exploring new ideas in the education and energy space. Currently working at aignostics, he is responsible for software engineering and machine learning for precision diagnostics in pathology. In his role, Gregor is focused on product development, improving application specific model performance, and writing software to allow for application at scale. Gregor's experience includes working as a Student Assistant at Machine Learning Chair at technische universität berlin, where he assisted research into machine learning for high dimensional physical systems as well as for anomaly detection. His work included time series forecasting on energy production data from offshore windfarms, as well as investigations into the regularization and disentanglement of variational encodings for anomaly detection. Additionally, he worked as a Working Student for Data Science at Center of Excellence Lighthouse Germany at KPMG, where he was involved in project-based work with clients from the public and private sector. He mainly focused on programming data pipelines and the analysis of data in different scenarios to generate value for the respective use cases. He applied machine learning and NLP to find and group companies in large scale international firm databases to automate benchmarking processes for Deal Advisory. Gregor holds a Master of Science degree in Physical Engineering Sciences (specializing in mechatronics and thermodynamics) and a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering (specializing in mechanical engineering), both from technische universität berlin. His technical skills include expertise in ML, research scientist, data scientist, and NLP.
